Ahoy mate! So, last week I did THIS post about the photo-a-day challenge and said that I would elaborate more about the SKETCH BOOK PROJECT. Basically its this project that these guys started and the idea is that they send you a sketch book, you fill it out and send it back. Then it becomes part of a sketch book library where anyone can go and flip though a book from the library. Such a great idea right?! The best part is you don't have to be an artist to participate because every sketchbook will be accepted not matter what. So no pesky art farts telling you its not good enough to be in a museum. The negative part is you do have to pay a small fee, but it totally makes sense to pay for all the materials and time that they put into it. Plus I love supporting people who have good ideas and are actually doing something about it. They have other nifty projects besides the sketchbook project so be sure to CHECK them out.
